What accessibility features does Veil offer?
The iPhone app supports VoiceOver, Larger Text, Reduced Motion, and a dark interface. See the accessibility guide for settings and platform details, or email us if a control is difficult to use.
How do I restore my premium purchase?
Open Veil, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchase." Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy.
Why does the audio stop when I lock my phone?
It shouldn't. On iPhone this is rare, so please email me. On Android it is usually the system stopping the app to save battery, which takes about a minute to fix: see the guide to audio stopping when the Android screen turns off.
Do the sounds ever repeat?
Not in any way you could hear. Every sound is generated procedurally in real time, with no audio files. The noise is layered from buffers of different lengths, so the pattern takes months to line up again (about 283 days in the app).
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open Veil, go to Settings, and tap "Manage Subscription," which opens your store's subscription settings. You can also cancel in your App Store account settings on iPhone, or under Payments and subscriptions in the Google Play app on Android. Cancelling stops future renewals, and premium access continues until the period you paid for ends.
Is there a subscription?
There is one if you want it, and you can avoid it entirely if you don't. Veil Premium is sold three ways: $1.99 a month, $9.99 a year, or $19.99 once. The one-time unlock never expires and never renews. The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers: if you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged; otherwise the annual subscription begins. Monthly and the one-time unlock have no trial, and you can cancel a subscription from your App Store or Google Play settings at any time.
